Roger William Grooms

Roger William Grooms, 59, of Lynx in Adams County, Ohio, died Sunday, July 7, 2024, at home. He was born October 6, 1964 in West Union. He was preceded by his father, Ronald Earl Grooms of Lynx.


Roger is survived by his son, Jakie B.E. Grooms of Lynx; mother, Frances G. (McCarty) Grooms of Lynx; two brothers: Ronald W. Grooms and David Grooms, both of Lynx; and former spouse, Linda Minton of West Union.


Roger was a farmer; a former employee of Tree Service Companies; and a former employee of the Adams County Highway Department for 11 years.


He enjoyed the great outdoors including hunting and fishing.


The graveside funeral is Friday, July 12th at 11 am at Hamilton Cemetery in Brush Creek Township in Adams County. Pastor John Whaley will officiate. Lafferty Funeral Home will direct the funeral.
