Lawrence Paul Belcher, 71, of Blue Creek, Ohio, died June 1, 2024, at S.O.M.C. in Portsmouth.
He was born August 3, 1952 in Portsmouth. He was preceded by parents: Clarise Faye Knauff and Luther Belcher; grandmother, Hazel Knauff; brother, Steve Belcher; two aunts: Brenda Knauff and Louise Knauff; and two uncles: Lester and Leroy Knauff.
Lawrence is survived by companion, Sharon Kay Dillow, of Blue Creek; daughter, Carey Sue Collier of West Union; grandson, Heath Douglas Collier of Chillicothe; granddaughter, Summer Hope Collier of Chillicothe; aunt, Mary Ruth Knauff and cousins: Brian Knauff and Steve Knauff of Peebles.
Lawrence was a U.S. Army National Guard Veteran. He loved old classic cars and traveling; and he enjoyed flea markets and dining at restaurants.
The visitation is Tuesday, June 11, 2024 from 11 - 1 pm at Lafferty Funeral Home in West Union.
The funeral is Tuesday at 1 pm at Lafferty Funeral Home. Pastor Jason Hayslip will officiate.
The interment is at West Union Cemetery. The Adams County Honor Guard will perform the military service.
