Linda Sue Caraway

Linda Sue Caraway, age 76, of West Union, Ohio died March 3, 2024. She was born March 10, 1947 in Stout, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husband George W. Caraway, her parents Oscar Nelson and Alberta Harper, her son, Truby Shiveley, her great-granddaughter Shalynn Spires, her brothers Don Nelson, Jim Nelson and Marion Nelson.


Survived by sons Joe (Cindy) Shiveley of West Union and Roger Shiveley of West Union.


Two sisters: Helen Howard of Stout and Virginia Spires of West Union. Several grandchildren and great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.


Linda went to East Liberty Church and enjoyed her church family. She had a long time childhood friend, Barb Hodge who was always by her side. A very special thank you to her nurse Carla Grooms.


The visitation is Thursday, March 7, 2024 from 1 to 2 pm at the Lafferty Funeral Home, 205 South Cherry Street in West Union, Ohio.


The funeral service is Thursday, March 7, 2024 at 2 pm at the Lafferty Funeral Home with Pastor Jason Hayslip officiating.


Interment will be at East Liberty Cemetery.

Linda was also a 46-year member of West Union Chapter #246 Order of the Eastern Star. Her loyalty through the years has been sincerely appreciated. We will remember the family during this difficult time, and a Resolution of Respect will be read in her memory at this month's meeting.
